In virtually any neighborhood, San Francisco is known for some hella good food. Another well-known fact about the city is its conservation efforts due to circumstances like California’s drought and pollution, among others.

Because of this restaurants that practice sustainability thrive in the Bay Area. From the Panhandle to Glen Park to Noe Valley to South of Market, there isn’t just amazing food; it’s sustainable for our bodies and the Earth, too.

Here are just a few restaurants out of the wide showcase that the city has to offer it’s environmentalist locals and visitors alike.

I’ve only been to Tataki Canyon, but I plan on checking out the other four spots on my list. If you decide to go to any of these restaurants I hope you enjoy. And remember, keep it klean out there!
